The Hardest I ever worked was to get my foot in the door at a sushi restaurant, and even then I wasn’t allowed to make sushi until I could prove my worth in the kitchen. Even then I had to do the mediocre tasks and clean all of the utensils, but finally through some fortunate events I was given the opportunity to finally learn. Having the hardships to get into the industry really gave me a sense of pride in my work when I was finally a part of the “club”. Now I make sushi for intricate campfire events, or the simplicity and elegance of making it in your home. Sushi has a wonderful history and some cool stories about how some of the techniques came to be. For this menu I will need at least a week in advance to procure all of the fish and ingredients for the best sushi experience you can have.
